Our Black Pearl Datsun 280z came with a matching L28 motor mated to an original Dogleg 5 speed Nissan Racing Gearbox, so it was only fair to build a Datsun Motor worthy of its partner.
After considering Independent Throttle bodies, selecting Original Triple Weber Carburettor’s soon became the apparent choice. Whilst this motor was built totally stock (OEM) with an original specification cylinder head and crank, the addition of the Triple Weber Carburettor’s soon provided the added performance, reliability and sense of theatre this piece of Automotive Art deserved.
